BIG BUSINESS TRIUMPHS AGAIN
In a world ruled by big business and money, battling South Sydney never stood a chance. A rugby league club borne out of Sydney's inner-city streets and built on the sweat of working class men was always going to struggle at a time when money carried more weight than history and pride.

In doing so, it slapped the face of a legion of rugby league fans, who had grown up basking in the glory of the game's most successful and longest-standing club.
