If news from our usually reliable source in Australia proves to be correct, Huddersfield will complete their overseas quota of players next season by signing second row Anthony Colella from South Sydney. He is 27-years-of-age and has played in seventy nine first-grade games since his debut in 1995 with Manly. However, there may be work-permit problems as he only appeared in five of the Rabbitohs games last season.

Whether Chris Walker has played his last game for the Broncos is once again in doubt. Outgoing South Sydney Chief Executive Paul Dunn says Walker and fellow Bronco Ashley Harrison had get-out clauses in their contract if he was not involved in the club next year.
Walker said:" I didn't know what was going on in my contract from day one . . I left it in my manager's hands. I'll know next week."
He added that moving to Sydney would be "exciting".
